EJAG Cook-Tech was established to address the growing need for clean and affordable cooking solutions, EJAG Cook-Tech promotes and distributes energy-efficient clean cooking appliances, particularly among vulnerable women and marginalized communities in Faridpur. Rooted in EJAG’s mission of empowering grassroots communities, EJAG Cook-Tech serves as an innovative platform that combines sustainable business practices with social impact. Together, both entities work hand in hand to foster inclusive economic opportunities, improve public health, and reduce carbon emissions through clean energy adoption.

EJAG Cook-Tech is a purpose-driven social enterprise based in Faridpur, Bangladesh, committed to selling and promoting Clean Cooking appliances as a sustainable alternative to traditional cooking practices. Our mission is to drive a community-wide shift towards cleaner, safer, and smoke-free cooking, while empowering vulnerable women and communities to become agents of change in the energy transition.

To create a healthier, more inclusive, and environmentally resilient society by:

• Reducing household-level carbon emissions through adoption of electric cooking (Clean Cooking) appliances.
• Enhancing the well-being of women and families by eliminating smoke pollution from traditional cooking methods.
• Empowering women economically and socially by engaging them as Clean Cooking ambassadors and entrepreneurs.

At EJAG Cook-Tech, we both promote and sell Clean Cooking appliances.

Our team works closely with households to demonstrate the cost-saving, health, and environmental benefits of switching to electric cooking. We make these appliances accessible, affordable, and community-supported.

We Have trained and deployed 24 local women as Clean Cooking Ambassadors, who:

• Lead community engagement efforts
• Promote behavior change around cooking practices
• Establish links with retailers and suppliers
• Earn income by promoting and selling Clean Cooking appliances

These ambassadors are not only change-makers but also role models, challenging gender stereotypes and becoming future leaders in their communities.
